Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Expert Ductwork Services for Efficient Airflow and Comfort
We design, install, and maintain duct systems that keep your heating and cooling running efficiently — improving airflow, comfort, and energy performance throughout your home or business.
Ductwork Installation
A well-built duct system is the foundation of an efficient HVAC setup. Our experienced team designs and installs custom duct layouts for new homes, remodels, and system upgrades. Many Jacksboro homeowners deal with hot and cold spots caused by poor duct design. We build properly sized, tightly sealed ducts that deliver even airflow, reduce strain on your HVAC system, and improve total home comfort.
Ductwork Repair
Leaky or damaged ducts can waste energy and make rooms feel uncomfortable. Our technicians use advanced diagnostic tools to locate and repair cracks, loose joints, and air leaks quickly. It’s common for homes to lose up to a third of conditioned air through duct damage. We seal and restore your ducts efficiently, helping you maintain consistent temperatures and lower energy costs.
Duct Cleaning
Clean ducts make a noticeable difference in your home’s air quality. Over the years, dust, debris, and allergens build up inside your ductwork and spread through your vents. Many Jacksboro residents experience musty smells or allergy symptoms as a result. Our thorough duct cleaning service removes contaminants and buildup using safe, professional equipment — leaving your system cleaner, quieter, and more efficient.
Ductwork Service FAQs
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
Here are some of the most common questions Jacksboro homeowners ask about ductwork maintenance, repair, and installation.
How do I know if my ductwork is leaking?
Signs of duct leaks include uneven heating or cooling, higher energy bills, and dust around vents. A professional inspection can locate and seal leaks to restore proper airflow.
How often should my ductwork be cleaned?
Most homes benefit from duct cleaning every 3–5 years. If you notice more dust, musty odors, or worsening allergies, it’s a good idea to schedule a cleaning sooner.
Can damaged ducts affect my indoor air quality?
Yes. Leaky or dirty ducts allow dust, pollen, and other contaminants to circulate through your home. Proper sealing and cleaning improve both air quality and comfort.
What materials are best for new duct installations?
Metal ducts are durable and efficient, while flexible ducts are ideal for tight spaces. Our technicians recommend the right material based on your home’s layout and HVAC system.
How long does duct replacement take?
Most residential duct replacements take one to two days, depending on the size and complexity of the system. We work efficiently to minimize disruption and restore comfort quickly.
More to Learn
Metal vs. Flexible Ducts: Which Is Better for Your Home?
Metal Ducts
- Durability: Made from galvanized steel or aluminum, metal ducts are strong and long-lasting. They resist punctures, sagging, and air leaks better than flexible ducts.
- Airflow Efficiency: The smooth interior surface allows air to flow freely with minimal resistance, improving energy efficiency and temperature consistency.
- Best For: Homes with open or accessible spaces where long duct runs are needed, such as basements or attics.
Flexible Ducts
- Flexibility & Ease of Installation: Made from a wire coil covered in insulation and plastic, flexible ducts are easier and faster to install around tight spaces or obstacles.
- Cost-Effective: Typically less expensive to install than rigid metal ducts, making them ideal for smaller projects or additions.
- Best For: Shorter runs or retrofit applications where bending and maneuvering are required.
