He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AC repair costs in the Campbell County area depend on several factors specific to your system and situation. The type of refrigerant your unit uses affects part costs, as older R-22 systems cost more to service than newer units with R-410A. The specific component that failed—whether a capacitor, contactor, fan motor, or refrigerant leak—determines both parts and labor.
System age matters too. Units over ten years old may have multiple worn components, which can drive up repair costs if several issues surface during diagnosis. Sometimes, especially on older systems, a repair cost approaches the value of a new unit. In those cases, our team provides an honest recommendation on whether air conditioning replacement makes more sense long-term than pouring money into a failing system.
Diagnostic fees typically apply, but we provide upfront pricing before starting any work. Emergency after-hours service may cost more than standard appointments, so scheduling repair early in the cooling season often saves money compared to waiting until a breakdown happens on the hottest day of summer.

Professional AC repair services in northeast Tennessee address the unique challenges posed by the region’s humid subtropical climate and mountainous geography. Our comprehensive diagnostic approach identifies issues ranging from minor component failures to complex system malfunctions that commonly affect air conditioning units operating in high-humidity environments with frequent temperature fluctuations.
The diverse elevation changes throughout northeast Tennessee create varying atmospheric pressures that can affect AC performance, requiring specialized knowledge of how altitude impacts refrigeration cycles and airflow dynamics. Our experienced technicians utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems with electrical components, refrigeration systems, and mechanical assemblies that may be affected by the region’s environmental conditions.
Common repair scenarios include addressing condensation issues exacerbated by high humidity levels, cleaning coils affected by mountain pollen and debris, and replacing components stressed by frequent cycling due to temperature variations. Our repair services integrate seamlessly with our AC leak repair and AC compressor repair specialties. We also coordinate with our HVAC maintenance programs to prevent future issues and extend system lifespan in Tennessee’s challenging climate conditions.
AC blower motor repair requires specialized expertise, particularly in northeast Tennessee where systems work harder due to high humidity levels and frequent weather changes. The blower motor serves as your air conditioning system’s heart, circulating cooled air throughout your home while removing warm, humid air from living spaces. When this critical component fails, your entire cooling system becomes ineffective.
Mountain environments and varying elevations create unique challenges for blower motors, as they must overcome different air densities and pressure variations. Our technicians diagnose motor issues including bearing failures, electrical problems, capacitor malfunctions, and belt wear that commonly occur in systems operating under Tennessee’s demanding conditions. We stock high-quality replacement motors designed to withstand regional climate stresses.
Blower motor problems often indicate broader system issues requiring comprehensive evaluation. Our repair process includes examining ductwork integrity, checking for obstructions, and ensuring proper airflow throughout your home. We frequently coordinate our motor repairs with ductwork cleaning services and HVAC inspection protocols. Additionally, our team works closely with furnace blower motor repair specialists to ensure year-round comfort system reliability in northeast Tennessee’s variable climate conditions.
Refrigerant leaks pose serious challenges for air conditioning systems operating in northeast Tennessee’s humid climate, where high moisture levels can accelerate corrosion and component degradation. Our specialized leak detection and repair service utilizes advanced electronic leak detectors and UV dye systems to locate even the smallest refrigerant escapes that compromise system efficiency and environmental safety.
The region’s mountainous terrain and elevation changes create pressure variations that can stress refrigeration lines and joints, making leak detection particularly critical for maintaining optimal cooling performance. Our certified technicians are trained in EPA-approved refrigerant handling procedures and utilize environmentally responsible repair techniques that comply with federal regulations while ensuring system integrity.
Leak repair involves more than simple patching – we address root causes including vibration damage from outdoor unit placement on uneven terrain, corrosion from high humidity exposure, and stress fractures from thermal cycling. Our comprehensive approach includes pressure testing, evacuation procedures, and proper refrigerant charging to restore system performance. We coordinate leak repairs with our AC refrigerant recharge services and HVAC tune-up programs. Our team also works alongside new AC unit installation specialists when leak damage necessitates system replacement in Tennessee’s demanding climate.
