Your HVAC system recirculates air throughout your entire house every day. When that air passes through contaminated ducts, everyone in your family breathes it in. Watch for these signals that your ducts need professional sanitizing:
Musty or stale odors linger even right after cleaning. Family members suffer from increased allergy symptoms, sneezing, or congestion at home that improves elsewhere. Dark spots or visible mold appear around vent covers or inside accessible ductwork. Your home has high humidity levels or recent water damage that could feed mold growth. Dust buildup in your vents seems excessive despite regular filter changes. Someone in your household has asthma or respiratory concerns that require cleaner air quality.
These symptoms point to contamination deeper than surface dirt. Standard air vent cleaning removes debris, but sanitizing targets the microscopic threats that brushing alone cannot reach.

He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Air duct sanitizing pricing across northeast Tennessee depends on your homes ductwork configuration and contamination severity. Several factors influence what you will pay:
System size is the primary driver. Larger homes with more duct runs require additional solution, time, and equipment. Homes with flexible ductwork often need more careful treatment than those with rigid metal ducts. Pre-existing mold conditions require stronger antimicrobial products and additional application passes. If your ducts have never been professionally serviced, years of accumulated contamination takes longer to address than systems on a regular maintenance schedule.
Many homeowners in Campbell County find that combining sanitizing with duct cleaning delivers better results than either service alone. Bundle pricing typically costs less than scheduling each service separately. We provide upfront estimates before any work begins so you know exactly what to expect.
