He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from TH&C! Our A/C wasn't working when we arrived at Norris Lake and had guests for the weekend. Matt took the time on a Saturday to get our A/C working. Highly recommend.
Our installation process starts with evaluating your current HVAC system to determine the best placement for the UV unit. UV purifiers install inside the ductwork near the evaporator coil or air handler where air velocity is consistent and the light can reach maximum surface area.
Once we identify the ideal location, we mount the UV lamp housing and connect it to your electrical system. The lamp sits in the airflow path so every molecule of air passing through receives UV-C exposure. We wire the unit to your air handler so it runs whenever your system operates, providing continuous purification.
After installation, we test the system to confirm proper operation and explain simple maintenance tasks like replacing the lamp annually. If you are considering other air quality improvements, ask us about air scrubber installation for additional filtration or air duct cleaning service to remove existing buildup before the UV system takes over contamination control.
Many homeowners pair UV purification with HVAC maintenance visits to keep both systems running efficiently and extend the lifespan of their equipment.

Comprehensive HVAC solutions for Northeast Tennessee require expertise in managing both the region’s humid summers and cold winters, making year-round system reliability essential for homeowner comfort. Our full-service approach addresses every aspect of your home’s climate control, from initial system design to ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs. The challenging Appalachian climate demands HVAC systems capable of handling significant temperature swings and high humidity levels that can strain equipment throughout the year. We provide expert smart thermostat installation services that help optimize energy usage during peak seasons, while our HVAC maintenance programs ensure your system operates efficiently regardless of external conditions. Our technicians are well-versed in the latest technologies, including air scrubber installation for improved indoor air quality, which is particularly beneficial given the region’s seasonal allergens and occasional air quality challenges from surrounding industrial areas. When your furnace fails during a Tennessee mountain winter, prompt and professional repair service becomes absolutely critical for your family’s safety and comfort. Our specialized furnace repair team understands the urgency of heating system failures, particularly during the extended cold seasons common to Northeast Tennessee’s elevated regions. We handle everything from minor issues like furnace flame sensor replacement to major problems requiring furnace heat exchanger repair. The region’s variable weather patterns can cause furnaces to work harder than in more temperate climates, leading to increased wear on critical components. Our diagnostic expertise covers all furnace types, including gas furnace repair and electric furnace repair, ensuring we can address any heating emergency regardless of your system type. Common issues in our area include problems with ignition systems due to altitude variations and blower motor failures from extended operation during long heating seasons. We maintain extensive parts inventory and offer emergency furnace repair services because we understand that heating system failures can’t wait for convenient business hours, especially when temperatures drop unexpectedly in the mountains.
Northeast Tennessee’s hot, humid summers put tremendous strain on air conditioning systems, making reliable repair services essential for maintaining indoor comfort during the region’s intense cooling season. Our expert technicians specialize in diagnosing and resolving AC problems that commonly occur in our climate, from refrigerant leaks caused by system overwork to compressor failures resulting from extended operation periods. The combination of high temperatures and humidity levels typical of East Tennessee summers can cause air conditioning systems to run continuously, leading to accelerated wear on components like blower motors and condensers. We excel at AC compressor repair and AC blower motor repair, two of the most critical services during peak cooling season. Our rapid response capability includes emergency AC repair services, recognizing that air conditioning failures during Tennessee heat waves can create dangerous indoor conditions. We also provide AC refrigerant recharge services to restore cooling efficiency that may have diminished due to the demanding operating conditions. Our technicians carry comprehensive parts inventory and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to quickly identify issues and restore your comfort, understanding that air conditioning downtime during summer months can be both uncomfortable and potentially hazardous.
